The 2.0 SkyActiv-G (Mazda's PE-VPS) is 2.0-litre four cylinders gasoline engine, and it was first introduced in 2011. The engine includes non-standard technical solutions, which is traditional for Mazda's engineering. The Skyactiv-G is based on predecessor the MZR 2.0 with a compression ratio of 10.0.
Thu 17 May 2012 01:24. mazda 3 2.0 diesel - engineer experience needed - unthrottled. I doubt that you'll need to remove it. The best trick is to ignore the advice about buzzing the hell out of the engine to try to burn soot off. The only way to raise exhaust gas temperatures on a diesel is to load the engine.
Tried a Mazda 2.5l 6 older model with manual gear change..was disappointed. Haven't tried an auto Mazda 6 with a 2.0l engine but just know I will be disappointed. Honda accord? Any other petrol, auto 2l cars out there?? PS You can bluechip the 20l ecoboost engine to take it from 203bhp to 240bhp and similar mpg. JUst got to find a decent one now.

When you've got half a tank, or less, I'd try running with the cap off. If that solves it the vent hole is blocked. If you can't find/clean said vent a new cap isn't dear. I can fully understand why you chose the 2.2TD over (say) the 2.0 petrol, as it is far more responsive an engine (I've test driven the 2.0 petrol in the smaller 3 and CX-3 and its ok, but not significantly better than my old 1.6 petrol 3 in performance terms) and, on longer journeys, probably 5-10mpg better than the petrol engine. 321 posts · Joined 2009. #1 · Sep 21, 2009.
