The Gear S3 does not support the Qi wireless charging standard used by most devices today. It uses its own proprietary format because reasons. Newer Samsung watches do support Qi but the Frontier was an early exception. Without the ability for the watch to perform a Qi handshake it will be either completely ignored or outright rejected by Qi
Woke up this morning and my S3 was dead. The light on the wireless charger was blinking red. Tried a different USB cord and charger and got the same result. Is this a bad charger or bad watch? I've only had it since January.
